I thought there was already a thread for fast food rants...i went back a month and could not find...so sorry if there is one...
My rant is that my husband, my son and I went thru the dr thru yesterday he ordered some food and my son ordered a frosty...he rang us up and gave us our drink and frosty...i asked him for a spoon and straw he looked at me shut the window..walked to his fry buddy, put his hands in his pockets and started talking..ignoring my spoon/straw request...mean while while waiting he looked over at the window and i waved him back over..he open the window with the response of "Ya" I said " Can i please have a straw and spoon how i wait for my food" and he comes back with.." You will get your stuff when i put it in the bag" WTH did he just say I was thinking to myself....I said "Excuse me"..he says" I said you will get it when i put in in your bag with the rest of the stuff" I said " I need my my straw and spoon how I wait for my kid" He threw his hand up and said "whatever"...i was in complete shock that a little 17 yrs old fry boy just talked to me like that and threw up his hands and me the customer....So i assume he told his manager to "deal" with me because the manager comes to the window and the 1st thing he says to me is..." I dont need no additude from you I am already getting one from my employee about you"...OMGosh...You have to be kinding me i said...all i did was ask for a spoon and straw and he told me I would get it with my food and shut the window on me after not responing the 1st time...how dare you tell ME not to have an additude...mean while the "boy" standing next to him at the window says.."I did not tell her that"...I am sorry my husband and I were both sitting there in the car I said...the manager says..."I dont know what happened I was not here"...needless to say my husband got out of the car, ran into Wendy's and had some few "Not so choice" words with both of them....trying not to pull them across the counter...after my husband returned to the car...it was Sorry...yes sir..yes mamm..here is your money back...sorry about everything... I would say the way the "boy" was hiding behind the couter with my husbands finger 1/2 inch away from his face he might not talked to someone like that again.... I just cant believe that the people who work in "customer service" now days think that they can talk to people like that...even the manager prob 30ish with an additude...I was in shock that a young punk just talked to me that way....there are so many people out there that would LOVE to have any job now days and cant get one...I know that fast food is not the best job a person can have...but if you are going to work with the public you need to have some kind of respect for people...maybe next time that person wont get so lucky and someone will come across the counter at him...gzzzzzzz
