Not to sound silly, but do you have a fairly recent version of the Adobie Reader? I would download that and install it, then retry.

Default Error Message

Thanks for the response. I actually got that issue resolved but now I have a new one on my personal computer.

Apparently at some point a virus may have gotten on it (it is off now) but I keep getting the following error on a bunch of web sites I go to and I cannot figure out how to clear my access. Any help would be appreciated:

We are sorry but your query looks similar to requests from a computer infented by viruses or spyware applications.
Unfortunately, for the protection of our users, we are not able to proceed with your request at the moment. We will restore your access as quickly as possible,so try again later.
Meanwhile, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to makesure that your system is free of viruses and other malicious software.

Please try the following:
  • <LI id=inzzxuctionsText2>Make a full scan of your computer. Click Scan Now- Internet Explorer will try to find and run the antivirus software.
  • For information about spyware protection, click the Help menu, and then click Contents and Index.
Internet Explorer

I have tried emptying all my temp files, cookies, etc and still cannot get on the sites.

Sounds like you still have a malware infection on your PC. I would advise downloading and running the free version of Malwarebytes. Best results if you download and install it, then restart your PC in SAFE MODE and then run Malwarebytes. It has a better chance of catching and cleaning the bad stuff that way.

P.S. I WOULD NOT run the link that is being provided in the "error message" you receive that says "Scan Now." That is likely an attempt to get you to install other bogus malware.
